Request an item

Due to impending changes to the State Library’s Inter-Library Loan system and associated courier service, the Karratha, Dampier, Wickham and Roebourne Libraries will be temporarily suspending the supply and/or request of inter-library loans of physical items from 7th June 2023 until further notice.

Patrons will still be able to lend items and eResources from other City of Karratha Libraries.

We apologise for any inconvenience.

City of Karratha Libraries can help members access items held by other libraries throughout the state if the item you want to borrow is not available in our collection.

Submit your interlibrary loan request via the catalogue, or in person in the library.

You’ll be notified when your request is available to collect. We will hold it at the library for up to one week for you.

View the State Library of Western Australia catalogue to see if your item is available in another Western Australian library.

Some restrictions do apply; these may be waived for members with a disability.

You may also suggest items for the City’s Libraries to purchase for our collection. Suggestions will be considered through the City of Karratha Libraries Collections Guidelines.
